My story

Rockie is a sweet and charming female calico cat with an absolutely adorable calico face! She adores people and is always ready to make new human friends, even kids — she’s gentle, affectionate, and loves attention. Rockie would do well in a home with a calm, laid-back dog, but she is not a fan of other cats, so she needs to be the queen of her domain. She has a condition called diabetes insipidus, which means she cannot concentrate her urine and needs access to fresh water at all times. Rockie drinks and urinates large amounts daily and requires consistent care, but her loving, friendly personality makes her an absolutely wonderful companion for the right family! All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
