Meet Draper: Your Future Couch Companion! 🐾 At six years young, Draper is the ultimate couch potato with a heart of gold. This lovable pit bull is a certified snuggle expert, dedicated to perfecting the art of napping and being your loyal shadow. When he’s not dreaming of treats or belly rubs, Draper moonlights as the vigilant protector of the backyard—no squirrel, rabbit, or suspicious leaf gets past him. He’s always close by, following you from room to room like your own personal (and very cute) security detail—especially if there’s a snack involved. 🦴 Draper is house-trained, kennel trained, and knows his basic commands. He recently completed a training program and is set up for success in the right home. He thrives in a calm, structured environment and would do best with an experienced dog owner who can continue building on his training. 💬 A few important notes about Draper: He’s food-aggressive with other dogs, and has had incidents involving fence-line aggression and bites in those situations. Most recently, Draper bit our one-year-old child, which we believe was a protective response toward his owner in a tense moment. Because of this, he should be in a home without small children. This decision has been incredibly hard for us, but after the incident with our child, we know that Draper will be happiest and safest in a home that better matches his needs. He’s looking for a loving human (or two!) to share quiet evenings, movie marathons, and maybe a few treats under the table. Draper’s got a lot of love to give and is just waiting for the right person to share his heart—and his favorite napping spots—with. 💙 Draper is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program.
