Meet Layla Dakota – A Survivor Ready for Love Layla Dakota may have had a rough start, but she’s not letting her past define her future. At just one year old, this resilient girl has already endured abuse, neglect, and being heartlessly dumped. She’s never truly known the love of a family, and it shows in her social skills—she’s still learning what it means to trust, to feel safe, and to simply be a dog. While she’s not a fan of other dogs or cats, Layla adores people and kids. She thrives on affection, soaking up every cuddle and moment of kindness she can get. Despite everything she’s been through, her heart is wide open for the right person—a patient, understanding soul who will show her that she is worthy of love. Right now, Layla is being boarded, but that’s no place for a dog who craves connection. She needs a foster or adopter willing to give her the time, stability, and compassion she’s never had.
