Hi, I’m Ping — a sweet, handsome fellow with a soft spot for feather wands and tasty treats. I love basking in the attention of people and being a social little guy! I would love an adopter that will stay on top of vet visits because I`ve got a wonky GI tract that sometimes makes my tummy upset, but I am on a special food that helps! I don`t let that keep me down at all, I`m just as playful and cuddly as ever, and would love to show you that side if you`d like to visit and say hello!I have tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FelV). FeLV is a cat specific virus that is transferred through bodily fluids, from activities such as grooming or a bite wound. FeLV can cause a cat to be more susceptible to diseases that a healthy cat may be able to fight off. I should be retested in October 2025, which is around 6 months after my last test. I need to be an indoor cat for the remainder of my life to protect me from exposure to diseases, and so I don’t spread the virus to another cat. I should receive regular check-ups just like any other cat. All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ping, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
