My story

Meet Fleet, he is a 7-year-old gentleman who joins morning playgroups daily. Our staff will do any dog-to-dog introductions to ensure a good match.While living in a foster home Fleet was reported to be house trained and very quiet. He did not bark at all. He loves to snuggle and slept in the fosters bed.Fleet is truly the full package: sweet, cuddly, playful, and ready to be your new best friend. A volunteer recently took him out for a full day of fun, and he was an absolute dream! Here is what they had to say:`Fleet loved exploring the park and lake trail—his tail never stopped wagging as he sniffed everything in sight and happily chased a few birds (in true dog fashion). He didn’t bark once and took in the world with a curious, gentle energy. After his big adventure, we treated him to a pup cup and a cozy car ride, where he eventually curled up for a well-deserved nap.When we got home, Fleet had a blast running around the backyard before settling in for cuddles on the couch. He’s a total snugglebug, especially when blankies are involved! He was incredibly sweet with my 7-year-old daughter—giving her kisses, practicing “sit” for treats, and showing how gentle and loving he truly is.`Fleet is a great mix of active and relaxed. Whether you`re up for a hike, a backyard zoomie session, or just lounging on a blanket in the sun, he’s down for it all. He’s also a solid car rider and seems to enjoy just being part of the adventure. He has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. Fleet is living in a foster home. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
