My story

Meet Flynn, our favorite comeback kid! While a significant injury brought him to us, his vibrant and affectionate personality have made him a favorite among staff and volunteers alike! At only 2 years old, he`s displayed incredible resiliance, bouncing back from being in an accident and becoming a tri-`paw`d quite quickly, hence the `cone of shame` in his photos. An ideal day for Flynn would include a squeaky toy, a nice cold floor to lie on, and as many friends as possible to maximize the amount of snuggles he could receive. He`s content to be dressed up, picked up, have his ears/paws/teeth messed with; he`s not phased by anything as long as he gets to hang out around people. He`ll gladly show you that he knows `sit,` and even `sit pretty` for photos, if it means he`ll get a treat, or a head pat, or even just a `good boy!` He`s very eager to please. If you think you might have a big-eared, three-legged, Flynn-shaped void in your life, come on in and meet him any day of the week between noon and 6:30 pm :) Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you, but getting any newly adopted animal into the vet within the first month is always a good idea, especially a dog like Flynn. While he has been receiving daily care from the IACS medical team, follow-up care with your veterinarian will be necessary and will not be financially covered by IACS.
