My story

Meet Inara — Your Future Adventure Buddy! Inara is a 2-year-old Pit Bull with a heart full of love and legs made for jumping (seriously… she once leapt over staff to get to a bench!). Found as a stray on 2/18/25, this petite powerhouse is smart, spunky, and seriously sweet once she warms up.She lives for tennis balls, gives the gentlest hugs, and has quickly blossomed in playgroups — wrestling with Austin and confidently making friends. She respects boundaries, takes treats oh-so-gently, and already knows how to sit! Potty trained? We think so. Agility star in the making? Absolutely.Inara is kennel-reactive, but don`t let that scare you off — it`s just her way of saying, `Please don’t leave me!` She’s got some separation anxiety and would do best with a family that understands her need for connection and a good crate setup while she`s home alone.She needs leash manners (she’s strong for her size!) but makes up for it with her charm, brains, and love of people.
