My story

Hello! My name is Jax and I’m a very loving, neutered 80 lbs pitbull. I am the sweetest fella you`ll ever meet. I`ll greet you with tail wags and smiles every time you come home, and I just want to be next to you. Because I love my human so much, I get excited and get tunnel vision for you, sometimes forgetting how big and strong I am. I do better with doggies my size. I love to go on walks exploring new scenery. Having a fenced yard where I can run and play helps me release my energy. Then I want to come inside and snuggle with my human. There’s something that makes me cute: I`m a bit cross-eyed and don`t see very well. Sometimes I run into things when I`m really excited. I`m also prone to build-up in my ears, but regular cleanings keep my ears feeling good.When my human needs to leave, I do best in my kennel. I`ve had a bit of a rough life and spent a lot of time in the shelter. It`s just that when you leave, a part of me thinks you`re not coming back. I get anxious, but the more time we spend together, eventually I won`t need it.You see, I`m five years old and I haven`t yet been able to give all of my love to a human, and it`s all I want in this entire world. I`ll be your bestest boy ever. That`s a promise.
