My story

Hi, I’m Judy—a 40-pound sweetheart with a soft heart, a gentle soul, and a lot of love to give!I can be a little shy at first, especially in new places or around unfamiliar people, but if you go slow and give me a chance, I really open up. These days, I get excited to leave my kennel and go for walks—I’ve even started greeting my favorite people with a wagging tail and a little bounce in my step! I walk nicely on a leash, love sunbathing, and enjoy fun games like tug-of-war or fetch when I’m feeling playful.I’m a quiet, calm girl overall, and I’ve been doing great with other dogs through the fence—lots of tail wags and friendly sniffs. I think I’d do well with another gentle dog friend or on my own, as long as I have someone patient and kind to help me continue building confidence.I know basic commands like “stop” and “come on,” and I’m very treat motivated (bonus points if they’re yummy). I’m also really good at listening and love being told I’m a good girl. Once I trust you, I’ll be your loyal companion, happy to relax by your side or follow you wherever you go.If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet companion who’s blossoming more each day, I’d love to be your girl. I may be a little reserved at first, but give me time—and I’ll give you my heart.
