My story

How this pet arrived: Halen was brought in by a community member on February 23, 2025.. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Halen, a handsome boy with the cutest soulful eyes looking for a loving new home! He takes some time to warm up to new people and may announce their arrival with some barks, so he will benefit from patience and ongoing positive reinforcement training. He likes to be pet and enjoys attention once he gets to know you. Halen seems to enjoy the company of other dogs and may be able to co-exist with cats, as well! He's looking for a calm home without the hustle and bustle of lots of visitors or young children (under 8). One of his favorite things? Walks! He'll happily trot alongside you, but keep an eye on him outdoors - we do know that this agile guy can clear a 4ft fence! Think Halen is the one for you? Come bring the entire family to meet him today! At SDHS:Halen has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Halen is now ready for his new home! Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 62.6 Age: 1yrs 2mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Halen, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
