To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Droopy is a 32 lb French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix who may take a little time to warm up, but with a few treats and some patience, he'll be your best friend in no time! Once he trusts you, he's a total sweetheart who loves to be your little shadow, snuggling on the couch and soaking up belly rubs. Droopy is also a fantastic work-from-home buddy! He loves being right next to his person while they work and often makes surprise appearances in video calls-much to the delight of coworkers. While he enjoys being close, he's also perfectly content relaxing independently in his crate when needed. He has a playful side, too! He enjoys bringing you his toys and playing a fun game of fetch. With a decent amount of energy, Droopy would thrive in a home where he can zoom around a securely fenced yard or go on daily walks. Just be mindful-this clever pup has some escape artist skills, so no fence-line playdates with neighboring dogs! He's potty and crate-trained, does well in the car (though he should be safely buckled in), and is working on his leash manners. Because Droopy is still building confidence, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him. When he's unsure, he retreats to his bed to regroup, but curiosity usually brings him right back. Droopy did well with a slow introduction to a calm, zen dog, so we recommend any dog siblings be considered with caution and introduced carefully. His ideal forever home would be with a confident, patient family-ideally with older children or as the only pet-who can offer him reassurance and continue guiding him as he grows. Now that he's been in foster for a few weeks, Droopy is really coming out of his shell. He's showing his silly, loving personality and just needs a little guidance and a lot of love to keep blossoming. Could this sweetheart be your new best friend? Droopy's adoption fee is $800
