My story

Meet Atlas! This resilient soul was found wandering all alone in a field in San Bernardino County. He wound up at the high-kill Devore Animal Shelter, but we rescued him just as his time was running out. Atlas is a gentle giant with a truly loving, protective nature. He is a big baby who loves to play with his toys. He has one month of professional board-and-train with LA's renowned Canine School of Behavior under his belt, and has an impressive heel, sit, stay, and recall. He also LOVES to cuddle and thinks he's a lap dog. Atlas is still learning to share with other dogs. With a rough start to life, he's working through behaviors associated with possession of high-value items like food and toys. He is housebroken, crate-trained, knows essential commands, and walks like a gentleman on the leash. While Atlas plays well when properly introduced to other dogs, he would prefer to be the only pup in the home while he settles in and learns to trust other dogs.
