My story

Mossy is a 10-month-old sweetheart with a calm, gentle soul and a love for the quiet moments in life. She’s a soft-hearted girl who thrives in a peaceful, structured home where she can take her time to feel safe and secure. Mossy may be shy at first, but once she warms up, her affectionate side shines, especially through her signature move: kisses. Volunteers who’ve taken her on Dog’s Day Out adventures describe her as polite, calm, and a dream on leash. She doesn’t pull, listens well to gentle guidance, and quietly observes the world around her with curiosity. Whether she’s soaking up the scents of nature on a walk or relaxing in the back seat during a car ride, she’s an easygoing companion who just wants to be near you. She prefers to be the only pet in the home so she can give her full heart to her people. Mossy would do best with older children who understand how to give her space when she needs it and patience as she continues to come out of her shell. Mossy is ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe, be loved, and keep spreading gentle joy one kiss at a time!
