He also does well with kids. We haven’t seen Groot with cats. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at: DC area boarding partner; would love a foster while waiting for his forever family!   Groot is Looking For: His forever home! He landed in the shelter through no fault of his own and is oh so eager to once again have his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. He's pretty young, probably around a couple of years, and is eager to see and experience the world! To explore all the toys! To go to dog school to learn to be the bestest boy! And to make new pup and people pals along the way! What My Foster Says About Me: If you're looking for a happy dog that wags his tail all day long, this handsome boy may be the one for you!   Groot sits very nicely and patiently when putting on/ taking off his leash. He really likes to hang out with his people! Groot responds well to training and is learning to do his business outside.  He was very surprised to learn that counter-surfing is a no-no.  He's great to take for a walk - he doesn't pull hard on a leash, except when a squirrel or bird teases him.  Groot is also a good car dog.  Groot would love to find his forever home and settle in to be his best dog-self!Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
