My story

Please say hello to this incredibly handsome guy we are naming Francisco! Francisco arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own on 2/23 because he got lost on a great adventure to finding his way home. The volunteers describe him as a sweet boy who is a tad shy and obedient. With some time to decompress we are confident he will blossom out of his shell and show his awesome personality. We know its in there! He is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. He is super intelligent as he knows simple commands such as sitting pretty well when asked. He may know more. He is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. Take him on awesome adventures so he can have the best memories ever with the one he has been searching for all of his life--YOU!! Please make sure you are able to be committed to a young pup. They are cute and a lot of fun but they are also a lot of work! Please make sure you are willing and committed to providing a wonderful fulfilling long life he richly deserves. All Francisco is asking for is for you to save his life and let him live his life the way he should...happy, loved, wanted, and appreciated everyday of his life. Francisco is current on vaccines, will be neutered and micro-chipped upon his adoption. He has tested negative for heart worms which is a blessing for our Francisco! Francisco is a nice size of 43 pounds and he is just a year old. So he is still pretty young. Just a baby. He is more than ready to meet his new family. You will find Francisco patiently waiting for you in Run 55. Francisco' s ID# is 8344 Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
