My story

Sage can't wait to find a forever home! She will be 1 on May 15th and she is a very smart, female, Lab mixed breed. She was lucky enough to find an amazing foster home where she is getting the chance to decompress and has been working on her confidence. *Please note: Sage is only on site Saturday’s 10am-2pm.* Although she is very timid initially, her foster mom raves about what a silly, sweet, and affectionate dog she is. She has been learning basic commands, has already mastered crate training, and has not had a single accident. She loves other dogs and her ideal home would absolutely have fur siblings for her to play with. Sage will thrive in an active home where she can get her daily zoomies out and play fetch. A fully fenced in yard is highly recommended. She is up to date on vaccinations and is SO ready to begin the next chapter of her life. If you’re willing to invest a little time to gain her trust, she will reward you with endless love. *PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
