My story

Hey there, my name's Harvey! I was one of eight kittens found abandoned and brought to the shelter, but that was a very long time ago. And I don't want to seem unappreciative of my friends at APR who have taken care of me since I was a kitten, but it's been 12 agonizingly long years waiting for my forever person to find me. My longtime friend Farley got adopted, and now I hold the APR cat record for longest in shelter... yeesh. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a cat tree to myself, my own home, my own adoring human... or humans; I'd honestly appreciate anyone who gives me even a bit of attention! I think I get overlooked because I seem a little bit shy, but once you get to know me, you'd know I love butt scratches, back rubs and treats. I've got a missing ear, but I promise I'm a good listener because I love when you talk to me and tell me how sweet I am!
