My story

Penny is a 5-year-old mixed breed sweetheart with a heart full of love and a personality that blossoms with time. She may take a little while to warm up, but once she does, she’s the most loyal, affectionate companion you could ask for! If you’re looking for a best friend who adores cuddles, leisurely walks, and simply being by your side, Penny is your girl. She’s got a bit of a bossy streak (but hey, every queen needs her space!), and she prefers a predictable, calm environment where she can truly relax. She’s working on feeling comfortable meeting new people—a gentle approach and a happy, high-pitched voice help her open up quickly. She’s doing great in playgroup, getting better at making doggy friends, and loves lounging in the sun with her favorite people nearby. While she’s not too interested in toys or treats, her biggest joy is just being with her person. Penny would do best in a home without young kids, as she doesn’t love sudden movements, and while she’s curious about cats, she’ll need slow introductions.
