My story

Have Stuffies, Will Travel! Nala is in CA - we are looking for a local foster or adopter, but we can bring to Naperville for pick up for the right adopter Hi, I’m Nala! I’m around 4 years old, and believe it or not, I was once one of Santa’s elves in a parade while I was at the shelter. But after the parade ended, no one told me they were planning to end my life too. I was still all dressed up, completely unaware—until, by some miracle, I was rescued by some amazing people. I’ve been with my foster for the past couple of months, and now I’m ready for my next adventure—finding my very own family! I love cuddles… and more cuddles… and yes, I really love to cuddle! I get along great with kids of all ages and sizes. I was a mom once myself, so I know how important it is to watch over your little ones. I’m also very attached to my stuffies—I carry them everywhere I go. Meeting new people? One of my favorite things! I’m just a people kind of dog. And don’t forget, I have official elf experience, so when Christmas rolls around, I can be your personal holiday assistant! I’d love a family with kids because I love spending time with them.
