My story

Kelly is a stunning cat who came to us from a local grassroots organization dedicated to rescuing street cats and giving them the opportunity for a better life. After spending some time on her own, she’s now ready to find a loving, forever home where she can truly shine. Kelly is a striking tortoiseshell cat with a beautiful mix of rich oranges, blacks and browns that make her absolutely captivating. Tortoiseshell cats like Kelly are often known for their unique and vibrant coats, but there's also a bit of mysticism that surrounds them. It’s said that torties bring good luck, happiness and positive energy to the homes they inhabit. Some even believe that their coats represent a balance of the sun (orange) and the moon (black), symbolizing harmony and protection. While Kelly’s past may have been uncertain, one thing we know for sure is that she’s ready to embrace the love of a forever family. Could Kelly be your lucky charm? The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
