My story

A volunteer writes:Little Elaine is an adorable kitten, a lively tiger who loves company and action. She is with us for no fault of her own. Sadly, her owner died....We do not know much about her as the next of kin did not leave any information with us.  Elaine is at once at her door  as soon as she sees me. She does not even ask....and she is on my lap, doing all her silly and cute moves. It is almost impossible not to fall in love with her....Elaine does have a little issue, though. She has a dermatitis affecting her head and neck. Be reassured, it is not ringworm(she has been tested and is negative for it) but the cause of her skin issue is not yet known. She is presently treated with steroids but a visit to a veterinarian dermatologist is a must and should be in the cards after her adoption or rescue. Finding herself in a safe, caring and loving environment  will, no doubt about it, improve her condition. Lovely Elaine is dreaming of love and play....with you!Follow up:Little Elaine lost her cone....She is so much better and her coat looks like new. She is still on steroids that we are tapering down and on a special diet, nothing though that can not be managed by an experienced adopter. Elaine is a gem of a kitten! Let's give her a home soon!Elaine immediately comes to the front of the kennel, soliciting attention by meowing and rubbing against the bars. She allows all petting, rubbing her body against assessor's hand and head bunting. Elaine is easily able to be picked up and remains calm when being held.This cat interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 6.3 Age: 0yrs 9mths 3wks
