My story

Hi, I’m Laurie! I’m 7, and a friendly, affectionate, and very social gal though I tend to be mellow at the same time. I recently arrived here after some big changes and a loss at my home, so while I'm curious and keen to explore new corners of my world, I may take a beat to acclimate to any new surroundings. I’m spayed and vaccinated, and get along well with other cats (I actually thrive on relationships with them) though I do admit I’m scared of dogs and cautious of men. I enjoy a good nap and a quiet day, and value a constant companion. If I'm honest, I could stand to lose some weight, and I do have asthma. Don't worry, with regular care, it doesn't slow me down! That weight loss will help—as will dust-free litter and keeping a clean home. We'll tell you all about it, but the important thing is that I deserve all the unconditional love in the world. Perhaps that could be from you?
