My story

Meet Rollo, he is a 35 pound Staffordshire/Dachshund Mix who is a ball of fire once comfortable in a home. Rollo was surrendered due to his owners moving, unfortunately he tested positive for heartworms and was treated for majority of his treatment in a foster to adopt home, he was brought back to CAP due to him being very hyper while undergoing heartworm treatment but finished his treatment with a staff member in a foster home. He loves other dogs but can be shy at first and then will play a bit too rough at times and does not know personal space. Rollo can be very jumpy and nippy while on walks but does well when you have treats with you. He has never been around children but he has a very hyper personality, we recommend older children if possible. He can also be intense with cats such as chases them and will play very rough at times. Most of the cats in the foster home were not a fan of him due to how rough he played with them, Rollo will do best in a NO cat family home. He also does best when he is free roaming and not confined in a crate, he loves toys especially the stuffed ones (a little bit too much), and is mostly housebroken in a home environment. Rollo needs an active family who will spend time training him. Please stop by and visit Rollo today! -KK 5/21

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rollo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
