My story

Meet Valentina Rose! This 4-year-old, 12lb. miniature poodle was one of 17 dogs rescued by CAMO after being found in heartbreaking conditions during a hoarding case. Despite her rough start, Valentina has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be close to her person. She forms deep bonds and loves fiercely; it’s no surprise that after the life she’s endured, she craves security and affection. Because of this, Valentina can be a bit protective and may growl at other dogs who get too close to her beloved human. She’s learning to share, but right now, she prefers to be the center of your world. She would thrive as an only dog or possibly with a calm, submissive companion who respects her space. Valentina is nearly fully potty trained and just needs a little patience and consistency in a new home. She rides beautifully in the car, does well with grooming, and most of all, she just wants a warm lap and a soft voice to remind her that she’s finally safe. Her ideal home would be with someone who’s home often and can give her the love, reassurance, and cuddles she so deeply deserves. Valentina Rose is proof that even the most broken beginnings can bloom into something beautiful. Will you be her forever? Adoption fee is: $450.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
