My story

How this pet arrived: Monti was brought in by his previous owner on February 11, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Monti, a social and high-energy cat who's always on the move! This spicy guy needs plenty of space, enrichment and things to keep him busy - such as toys, cat trees, climbing spots and puzzle feeders. It's important to play with toys and not hands to help him learn appropriate play behaviors. Monti will appreciate some time to warm up to his new home at his own pace, and confinement should be done in a separate room or area for the first few weeks to allow him time to adjust. During this period, Monti should have plenty of activities to keep him occupied and prevent boredom. After this time, he would thrive with safe access to the outdoors - like supervised time in your fenced in yard or in a catio, to help him burn off energy safely. Monti enjoys being pet but isn't a fan of being handled, so he'd do best in an adult-only home where his boundaries are respected. He has done well with mellow dogs but isn't keen on other cats. Once he's comfortable, he can be quite the cuddle bug on his terms! If Monti sounds like the one for you, bring a large hard-sided, top-loading carrier in and ask to learn more about him! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for adoption!  Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Blue Weight: 13.36 Age: 6yrs 1mths 2wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Monti, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
