My story

And then there was one. Last of the three puppies we had is available for adoption. Mom was purchased off Craigslist in TX. When her new owner came home from class, she had given birth to 3 beautiful babies. Mama is now spayed and her babies are looking for their forever homes. Maybach is a sweet Corgi puppy approx 14 weeks old and just under 10#. She is a Pembroke Corgi with a tail and was the runt. She has a congenital eye defect called persistent pupillary membrane which results in her eyes looking a little cloudy. It doesn’t impact her vision or anything else but could in the future. She is dog friendly but has not been tested with cats or kids. Respectful children 12+ may be considered. Maybach is working on potty training and chewing on appropriate puppy chews and toys. She does well when let out often and wants to stay out as long as possible but should not be left unattended outdoors at any time due to her size. She can be a sassy little smack talker if she’s not ready to come inside and her spunky Corgi personality is blossoming but will be a challenge for those not familiar with the breed.  Minimum requirements for Maybach’s new home: -a secure and puppy proofed fenced in yard -active herding breed-experienced owners who will include her in their daily activities, teach her fun things, and are not gone long hours. Maybach would love to learn a dog sport and/or have a job. She enjoys walks but prefers sprinting.  -Puppy training and socialization classes are highly recommended.  -She is not a good fit for an apartment situation or young children.  -Preference will be given to a home with a friendly canine companion. Maybach is both independent and snuggley when in the mood. She sleeps through the night in a crate or pen by her foster’s bed. She will cry if she’s placed in another room at night. Her puppy bladder wakes her up pretty early and she will in turn wake her human up to let them know it’s potty time. Maybach is spayed, utd on vaccs, and chipped. If interested in meeting her, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application. We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Her adoption fee is $550 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado. Note if you have an application on file with us within the last year with all of your correct and current info, and you meet the requirements in this bio, you can just send us an email if you’re interested in meeting Maybach; no need to complete another application.
