My story

Ready to shine in your home! Hi there! My name is Star, and I’m a little ray of sunshine who was rescued from Ellos Son La Razon in Ensenada, Mexico. I’m a 5-year-old, 42-pound Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. I’m also a proud TVT survivor—plus, I’ve already been spayed! Basically, I’m the sweetest, most lovable girl you’ll ever meet. The first time I met my foster mama, I ran right up and gave her a big hug. I’m super affectionate and always eager to please. I have a medium-energy level, which means I love going on long walks, runs, and adventures, but I’m just as happy curling up for a nap. If I don’t get enough exercise, you might see me zooming around the house with excitement.  Some of my favorite things? Belly rubs, car rides, beach trips, and hikes. But most of all, I love people—even strangers! I’ll happily snuggle up with just about anyone willing to give me love. On the training front, I’ve got all the basics down – I’m crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. I’m a quiet girl who doesn’t bark or act out, and I don’t have any separation anxiety when left alone. I just want to be the best girl I can be! I’d thrive in an active home with plenty of space to roam. Since I’m such a people-loving pup, I’d love a family where someone is home often or works from home. I get along great with other dogs, cats, and kids—so the more, the merrier! If you’re looking for a cuddly, loyal, and adventure-loving best friend, I just might be your perfect match.
