My story

In the Disney classic Dumbo, it was a stork’s job to deliver all of the baby animals to their families. We imagine all of these animals coming from the Disney baby-animal factory, where the perfect ingredients were combined to make each perfect baby. We imagine that Dumbo got 1 scoop of cuteness and a double scoop of ears! If our boy Scoop was made in this imaginary factory, we think his perfect recipe would be 2 scoops of playfulness, 1 scoop of curiosity, 1 scoop of adventure, 1 scoop of cuteness, and an extra-large scoop of sweetness! Here`s what some of his friends at the shelter have said:“Scoop is a friendly, curious, playful guy! I took him over to a play yard and he enjoyed running around with a ball, although he hasn`t quite gotten the hang of catching or returning yet! I tossed some treats around in the yard and played “find it.” He is a very curious guy and loved exploring. We later introduced Scoop to another dog- he was immediately friendly and excited to have a new friend, and was respectful and playful with his new buddy. When I walked by his kennel a while later, he and his new buddy were playing away in their kennel together!” “Scoop is a sweet playful guy who responds well to direction. He showed interest in other dogs passing by but was not reactive. Scoop likes affection and petting but isn’t pushy. I tried throwing a ball for him- he chases it but hasn’t quite figured out that he is supposed to return it. Scoop likes treats and takes them with a soft mouth. He will be a wonderful companion.”Scoop shares his kennel politely with another young, playful pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If your home is in need of an extra-large Scoop of “very good dog,” come meet our boy Scoop TODAY!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt SCOOP*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
