Anchovy

My story

Hi everyone, my name is Anchovy and I’m a sweet little boy looking for my forever family. I’m about 3 months old and about 15-20 lbs. I was rescued from a shelter in Texas, so nobody knows exactly what breed I am. My mom is a pitty mix and my foster mom thinks that I probably have some JRT or heeler in me, but whatever I am, it’s 100% adorable! I really, really love being around people, and I also really like the much bigger dogs in my foster home. Toys are super fun too! My foster family thinks that I would do great with another dog or as your one and only love. I did well in a foster home with a kitty, so a dog-savvy feline friend would also be a-ok with me! Wherever my people are is exactly where I want to be. Cuddles and naps in your lap are my favorite. I’ve been working hard on my potty and crate training. I sleep quietly in my crate overnight. I get a little sad when I’m left in my crate during the day, but I’m learning that foster mom always comes home and it’s OK. I am still a baby, so I hope my forever family will understand that I may need a little patience and training while I’m trying to remember to only potty outside. I am a Texas baby, and I think the snow is fun, but I get cold quickly and am doing well with potty pads too.  I know the right family is out there to help me continue to grow into the Top Dog that I was always meant to be.
