What my friends at ACC say about me:I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some canine body language together!I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.I need a home where there are no other pets.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: King Bentley is a very cute and playful guy with the spirit and energy of a puppy. He clearly enjoyed exploring natural surroundings, in the park. He likes toys and loves treats. He enjoys being petted, and adorably, he would slump against me for maximum contact during petting sessions and then roll over for the all-important belly rubs. His leash manners may be a bit of a work in progress, but he's an intelligent dog that likes to be praised, and with the right adopter, I'm sure he'll get the hang of it. He just needs someone patient and gentle who will use lots of positive reinforcement. He has tons of love to give. Once he decides a hooman is made of the right stuff, he LOVES that hooman.
