Billy Boy

My story

Billy is a goofy and super fun hound-mix puppy. He was born in July of 2024  He is all legs and happy wagging tail and will have you in stitches with how poorly he races around corners when he’s got the zoomies.  Billy will likely max out around 40 pounds. And he is super cute with his flopped-over ears and how he tucks his front paws in.  Billy had to wait a long time to get into foster, so he is still learning what life outside a shelter crate is like.  He is making really great progress on housebreaking and learning the basic commands.  He likes to play ruff-and-tumble style so he would make a good little doggie brother to another younger, energetic and playful dog.  He chases and plays too rough for any normal cat’s liking.  Squeaky toys are his favorite and he loves to toss them up in the air for himself.  Because Billy is still a puppy and needs to continue to catch up on his socialization and exposure to the world, his ideal home would be one where he is not left alone for long periods of time. Billy will thrive in a home with another young playful dog. He would not be a good match for older dogs or cats since he chases and plays more than most would want to do. The adoption fee of $250 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
