My story

Meet Moonmist, a lively 7-month-old terrier mix born right here at Big Dog Ranch, along with his six siblings. His mom was transferred to Big Dog Ranch from a shelter in Alabama, and now Moonmist is eagerly searching for his forever home where he can thrive and grow. As a young pup, Moonmist has lots of energy and enthusiasm for life. He’s playful and affectionate, always ready for some fun but also loves quiet cuddle time once he feels comfortable. He walks well on a leash and enjoys the company of other dogs, showing great social skills. He’s good with kids, making him a wonderful addition to an active family or household with children. He also loves the water, so splash-filled playtime is a big bonus! Moonmist is still learning the ropes when it comes to housetraining and basic commands, but his strong food motivation means he’s eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. With consistent training and patience, he’s sure to develop into a well-behaved and confident dog. This sweet and spirited pup would do well with a first-time dog owner who has the time and dedication to help him blossom.
