My story

Meet Moonflower, a lively 7-month-old terrier mix born right here at Big Dog Ranch, along with her six siblings. Her mom was transferred to Big Dog Ranch from a shelter in Alabama, and now Moonflower is eagerly searching for her forever home where she can thrive and grow. As a young pup, Moonflower has lots of energy and enthusiasm for life. She’s playful and affectionate, always ready for some fun but also loves quiet cuddle time once she feels comfortable. She walks well on a leash and enjoys the company of other dogs, showing great social skills. She’s good with kids, making her a wonderful addition to an active family or household with children. She also loves the water, so splash-filled playtime is a big bonus! Moonflower is still learning the ropes when it comes to housetraining and basic commands, but her strong food motivation means she’s eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. With consistent training and patience, she’s sure to develop into a well-behaved and confident dog. This sweet and spirited pup would do well with a first-time dog owner who has the time and dedication to help her blossom.
