Sweet and gentle Sawyer is a three-year-old hound mix with a heart full of love and a shy demeanor that needs patience and care to truly shine. Sawyer has had a rough start—he recently tested positive for Lyme disease, but don’t worry, he’s already been treated is feeling his best! 💙 Despite his shyness, he has the kindest soul and just needs someone who will give him the time and love to truly shine. Sawyer is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. Sawyer’s Ideal Home: - Needs a calm, patient environment to help him build confidence - Would thrive with an adopter or foster who can take it slow and provide gentle encouragement - Must be leash-walked or supervised in a fenced yard to ensure his safety - Best suited for someone who understands nervous dogs and can offer reassurance and stability Though nervous, Sawyer’s gentle soul shines through.
