*** Kora and Cleo are in a foster home. ***Kora: gray/black tabby, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/1/24, #19499Cleo: solid black, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/1/24, #19500Cats: **BONDED PAIR** & like othersDogs: unknownChildren: older respectful ones in a quieter homeBACKGROUND: Kora and Cleo were found on the grounds of an elementary school. A kind person took them in and got them spayed but was having difficulty finding them a permanent home. She reached out to The Rescue House to ask if we could help connect these sweet sisters with their forever people!PERSONALITY: These girls are lovely inside and out! They need a bit of time to settle into a new place and an overall quieter home, yet as they get to know their people they fully expect you to participate in their lives and cherish their time spent with you.---Kora is an exceptionally sweet, athletic, and playful young lady who loves to be with her person. She will sit in your lap or snuggle with you and she gives you kisses by licking your face! Kora likes to be the first to say “hello” when you wake up in the morning and gives you lots of love through the day… her fur is incredibly soft to pet, so that’s a win for you both! Feather wands and toy mice are a hit with Kora and she finds fun in both interactive and non-interactive toys.---Cleo absolutely loves to play and can be such a goofball---she will truly entertain you with her antics. Cleo likes to be verbally praised (she knows she’s a good girl, but please make sure to tell her every day!) and will show off as she gets that affirmation; she strongly favors interactive toys versus ones that just sit there, which means she wants you to be involved. Cleo is a very sweet girl who will purr when you pet her and rub against your legs in thanks (and encouragement) as you prepare her meals. However, she does like to be in control of the when and how of petting time.---Kora and Cleo have never been apart and find comfort and confidence in each other’s presence. They MUST be adopted together.COMPATIBILITY: The girls love each other and enjoy the company of other cats. We don’t know their thoughts on dogs. Since they need a quieter household, younger or more active children would not be a good fit. Calm kids who are older and respectful may be fine once everyone gets to know each other. One’s a mini-panther and the other’s a mini-leopard. Will Kora an
