My story

Meet Rouge! This happy-go-lucky girl is a friendly and playful companion. A sweet-natured medium-sized dog, Rouge is great with people and, absolutely LOVES toys and playing with other dogs. She's a gentle and affectionate dog who just loves to have a good time - she's always game for a romp around the park or a wrestle with her favorite toy! Rouge came in as a new mom, she did great raising her puppies although as they got older, she would always steal their toys and take them out of their pen to play with them herself! Rouge is currently a part of a play group with a dog smaller then her, one her size and a 90 lb Pyrenees. She just adores the big dog, they all play and sleep together. Rouge came from a home that had many dogs on the property, she has always had dog "friends". If you have a sweet dog that needs a friend, look no further than Rouge. Rouge weighs around 48 lbs, she has "shorter" legs and medium fur. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please note that our animals are rescued and transported from South Mississippi where major animal overpopulation means less homes. We only transport them once adopted, in most instances, we can be available for a video call once an application has been approved. We are USDA certified, and WE PERSONALLY TRANSPORT OUR OWN adopted animals to meet their new families. We transport every 2-3 weeks. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, Microchip, heartworm tested, Mississippi Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.*** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.
