Angel has lived with resident dogs and played tug of war and fetch KNOWN WITH CATS: Angel has not been cat tested KNOWN WITH KIDS: Angel lived with teenagers and has done well with them. Given her sweet, loving, patient demeanor we believe she will do well with kids of all ages. People of all ages. Treats. Treats. Treats. KNOWN DISLIKES: None at this time ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Angel is a beagle mix who previously served as a hunting dog in a rural area of South Carolina. She was discovered as a pregnant stray wandering the streets, and animal control subsequently rescued her and transported her to a shelter. Her previous owners had equipped her with a GPS collar, as well as another collar displaying their name and contact number. Although the shelter reached out to the owner, who initially expressed intent to retrieve her, they ultimately failed to do so. During her time at the shelter, Angel gave birth to six healthy puppies. The shelter then contacted HT, which facilitated finding a foster home for Angel and her pups. Angel is an affectionate dog who delights in playing games such as chase, fetch, and tug of war. She is currently exploring the world of toys and discovering the joy they bring. Angel thrives in the company of other dogs and adores her human companions. She relishes cuddling, snuggling, and receiving belly rubs. Whether sitting on the couch to watch television or resting by your feet while you work remotely, she ensures that you remain productive, all the while anticipating playtime or cuddles. Angel walks well on a leash, although she may pull if she catches an interesting scent; however, she can be easily redirected. Her food motivation is strong, and a simple treat can effectively capture her attention. She enjoys her walks, taking in new sights, meeting other dogs, and exploring various scents. With her gentle nature, we believe Angel would make an excellent family pet. Her primary desire is to be loved and to spend quality time with her family.
