My story

“Alexa, why does this lady keep playing ‘Goodbye Earl’?” What could possibly be better than one puppy? two, duh. This is earl…earl boone to be exact 🫶🏻 earl got busted out of the shelter wednesday because i couldn’t stop thinking about him. i haven’t posted him because jonathan and i have debated names for 2 days. my boss loves boone (i.e. his middle name), but it just didn’t quite fit him. name him after a superhero dog like his brother? still didn’t fit. jonathan continues to call him sling blade lol. he needed an old man name. but my coworker had suggested we name clifford, earl and continues to call him that to this day, so it just fit lol. anyways, to make a long story short….. “and all she found was Earl” (the good one). Earl is a 5 month old puppy with an insanely adorable underbite. he’s different than his brother. - he’s definitely the more shy brother - he LOVES to cuddle, loves stuffies, blankets, the cozy things in life - he is treat and food motivated, but he has puppy attention span - he has aversion to the cold but refuses to wear sweaters - he gets along with everyone and is good with boundaries of our other dogs I hope we don’t say “Goodbye Earl” too soon. Earl is available for adoption through Anderson County Animal Shelter. He is 5 months old, about 25 pounds, neutered, and fully vaccinated. Please fill out an application through Slumdog Rescue Crew - Friends of Anderson County Shelter if you are interested in adopting Earl.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Earl, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
