My story

UPDATE!! Meet Yoda! This sweet boy is part of a pack of dogs that was dumped in a local neighborhood. Thankfully, 9 of the 10 pups have been caught and taken into foster! They are getting settled in and we will update their pics and info as it comes. All were a little timid at first and will need a little time and patience to settle into a new family and environment. They are good with other dogs and have done great with the older children in the foster home. Yoda is a Chiweenie mix. He’s around 2-3 years old and 28 ish lbs. He is now utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and neutered! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you!
