Kit - Madeline's pup

My story

Meet Kit! Kit and her siblings were born to mama Madeline, who arrived with us when her pups were just 2 weeks old. Madeline was found on an abandoned property, living out in the cold. Mama is a 16 lbs mixed breed, smooth coated dog. We're not sure who dad was but it is clear that these puppies are true mixed breeds. They have a slight fluffier coat than their mom and will likely grow to be a bit bigger than her - we estimate their full grown size to be around 35-40 lbs.  The pups are doing wonderfully. They are now 6 weeks old and will be ready to leave their mom and find their forever homes at 8 weeks old. They are healthy and growing well. Our volunteers are helping to socialize them to being handled and they are playful pups! They are the cutest little things so get your applications in right away! The pups are young enough that they can learn to be around cats. We prefer to place young puppies with older children, as their puppy teeth can be rough on very small kids.  The pups will have received their first vaccinations. They are on a bi-weekly deworming schedule and will be microchipped. We recommend spaying and neutering between 8-12 months old and the cost of this procedure is covered by their adoption fee when the time comes.  Their adoption fee is $595April 25, 2025, 7:12 pm
