My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!A volunteer writes: "No time" was the reason Kitty's former person relinquished this pretty tabby girl to the Care Center. It's puzzling, because by her owner's own account, Kitty was an A+ perfect young lady: an affectionate, slightly shy lap cat who liked hanging out with her people in the living room, is litter box trained, and switched between enjoying games and indulging her couch potato side. Kitty's in an unfamiliar environment now, but she's slowly getting her bearings--warming up to staffers with the help of treats and even allowing pettings. Our behavior team deemed her to be curious and mellow, and even her former person acknowledged her adorable looks (we definitely agree!). Kitty is on the hunt for a real forever home now, one where her good manners and sweet personality will be appreciated and cherished. Meet her today on 110th Street!
