My story

Meet Nora Banana, the coolest dog south of Savannah! Nora is a beautiful, soft, fluffy, medium-sized girl who has reached her senior years with dignity and grace. She’s calm, quiet, house-trained, and friendly to all. Because she is blind, she will need to be guided around her new home at first and allowed to sniff out the area, but she’ll soon remember where her bed and her stuffie toys live, where the treats are, and how to get back in the house when she’s out in the back yard. Nora enjoys affection and cuddles. She is happy to hang out in her bed and snooze, and she takes delight in rassling with her blankies and stuffies until she’s got everything in her bed arranged to her satisfaction. She also has high-level couch potato skills if she can be assisted with getting up and down from a couch or a human bed. Nora is low-hearing, meaning she can only hear certain sounds, like a clicker. In her foster home, she’s growing more confident about being walked on a leash around the yard, but she’s also happy to sniff out the yard on her own as she has an independent nature and she’s mature enough to make good choices.
