My story

EJ is a handsome little go-getter with a zest for life and endless enthusiasm for adventure. Whether you’re hitting the trails, sprinting through the park, or simply indulging in a backyard zoomies session, EJ is all in—and he’ll be your biggest fan every step of the way. His happy-go-lucky spirit is contagious, and he’s equally content winding down for cuddle time when the fun is done.During his foster stay, EJ proved himself a stellar housemate: calm and friendly with resident dogs and cats, reliably potty-trained, and eager to show off his “sit,” “stay,” and recall (“here!”) skills. He’s also a true trooper—having breezed through an eye-removal surgery without missing a beat, he faces the world with the same joyful curiosity he always has. If you’re looking for a resilient, loving sidekick who doesn’t let anything slow him down, EJ is ready to meet you and start your next great adventure together!To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1-6 pm.
