My story
Disco Dottie was one of two momma dogs that were among the large-scale rescue in Harrison, in which HES took in 29 puppies and their mothers. Dottie started off terrified, under-socialized, and had never walked on a leash before. Despite her fears and all the sudden changes in her life, we could tell she just wanted to be loved! After some time to decompress, Dottie discovered her love for scritches, cuddles, soft blankies, and yummy treats. She likes to sunbathe outside, has learned how leashes work, and will seek out attention from people! Now in foster care, she is doing fabulously and is ready for her forever home.
