My story

Hi, I’m Mimosa! I might be a little shy at first, but give me some time, and you’ll see my curious and playful side start to shine. I love to quietly explore my surroundings, bat at toys when no one’s watching, and slowly sneak up for attention when I’m feeling brave. With a little patience (and maybe some treats), I’ll be your new favorite shadow!FOSTER REASON: I’m being treated for ringworm—a curable fungal infection that just needs some topical and oral medication. I’ll heal much faster in a foster home than in the shelter! Ringworm can be contagious to humans and pets through close contact, so a bathroom or another easy-to-clean space is perfect for keeping me separated while I recover. The shelter will provide everything—medication, cleaning supplies, extra bedding, and plenty of guidance. All I need is a little patience, some foster love, and someone willing to help me heal! SPECIAL NOTE: I can be fostered by myself but I would prefer to be with my siblings Patron and Kringle if possible!While I am not available for adoption yet, I am available for Foster-To-Adopt!Fill out an application or email FOSTER@SPCA.ORG to meet me!
