LAVENDER

My story

Hi I’m Lavender! My foster mom says I am a sweet girl. But I take “stranger danger” to a new level! My new home will have to understand I have strong reactions when strangers approach, and this reaction may pose an issue for active, social families with lots of outside encounters. The ideal adopter would be extremely patient with me and foster a calm environment with very little outside stimulation. My anxiety manifests itself in constant circling around and around furniture, negatively reacting when strangers approach, and a propensity to want to chase cars when walking outside. But here are my great qualities- when I love my person, I REALLY love them! I will sit on your shoulders on the sofa and love on you, snuggle on your lap, look at you with adoring eyes, and-,I’m really smart! I have great potty manners and i am trained to sit for treats and food AND i go straight into my kennel at night with the command “Go crate”. I’m ok with other dogs in the house but they have to understand my boundaries. I would probably be much better as an only dog. I watch tv with you and look for animals in the show. I DO react to these animals as well even though my foster mom tries to convince me they aren’t real! I’m hoping someone will give me a chance
