My story

Meet Donatello or Donny: the love bug pitty who enjoys plenty of cuddles and nap times with the occasional active plays! Most of the day he is the laziest dog ever, who loves sleeping on the couch or laying near you in the house. When you are not home he will spend all day watching tv, playing with his toys, or snoring. He loves long walks where he can smell new smells, watch birds and squirrels, and meet other dogs. He also gets the zoomies and has fun running in circles, wrestling, or playing tug of war! His favorite activity is getting pets on the couch while you watch a movie. If you'll let him, he'd love to sleep in bed with you every night, but the couch is just fine as well. Donny is a smart dog who perks up when you are opening bags of food and follows you to investigate. He won't whine, but he will give you puppy eyes from under the table while you eat hoping to get a snack. When he's hungry he's not afraid to bring you his bowl to let you know! If he sees you are getting chores done around the house, he will lay down or keep occupied with a toy while you are busy. If he wants to play he will come up to you and lick your legs or bring a toy to throw. He loves to follow you around, especially to the bathroom, and investigate the closet or shower while you get ready for the day. He does a great job on car rides and will quietly look out the window while you get to your destination. Donny mostly enjoys relaxed play but likes to wrestle or get his energy out at least once a day. He would do best in a home either with another dog big enough to play rough, or a home with someone who likes a little bit of activity once a day! Ideally a home that is a bit more quiet during the day and doesn't overstimulate or startle him. If you are a couch potato who needs an excuse to get some exercise once in a while, Donny is your guy! He is happy to lay with you as long as you want and will help you explore your neighborhood on a leisurely walk. Donny can't wait to find his forever home to cuddle and play in! The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
