My story

Hiiii there. I'm just the sweetest girl--I'll totally melt your heart. When I close my eyes and lean into you for pets, you'll feel 100 feet tall. My taste is simple: I like scritches, treats, and safe, gentle people. Will you come spend some time with me? Kids: 10 +, needs gentle kids who understand sensitive dogs Dogs: Slow intros with gentle dogs, likes to play but can be too much for some dogs More about Lexie:  Hi, I’m Lexie! I’m in foster care and have been such a good girl. I am potty trained and crate trained and sleep through the night without a peep! I know “sit” and “shake” and am working on “down” and “wait.” I really like the dogs who live here, just maybe a little too much—I love to play and can be too rough with them sometimes. My foster parents are working with me so I can be more respectful of their space. There are cats here too and I’m pretty polite with them, but I really want to play with them too! So it’s probably better if my furever home doesn't have cats. I am a shy girl at first and uncertain of new people and situations. When I learn to trust you, though, I’m a huge love bug! My favorite thing is to cuddle next to my foster mom.  I have been gentle with the children I’ve met, but if my new family has kids, it would be better if they are old enough to understand that sudden moves and loud noises will scare me. I love soft dog beds, nylabones, and playing ball and tug. And napping—I really love a good nap! I’m so sweet and can’t wait to find my new family. Is it you?August 12, 2025, 3:53 pm
