My story

Chloe is a beautiful white pittie girl with gorgeous sable `eyeshadow`! Chloe got to take a break from the shelter, and this is what her host had to say: `When I first met Chloe in the lobby, she was timid but as soon as I gave her a treat, I knew already won her over. We went back to my house where she roamed the back yard. She is curious! She sat on command for treats. We then went inside, and she was not sure about the stairs, but nothing a little treat couldn’t fix to help build her confidence! Within 10 minutes of being inside she was showing her belly asking for lovings. She is a sweetheart!! She even took an afternoon nap in the bed. She likes to cuddle. Finally, we went on a 30 min walk around the neighborhood. We saw other dogs and she did not bark or pull towards the dogs. She would stop and stare occasionally. During the walks, the loud trucks would scare her but just saying “it’s alright” and she was wiggling down the road again. She did pull sometimes to sniff things but was great on walking once commanded.Chloe is a GREAT dog. She just needs someone to build her confidence. It wouldn’t take more than 30 mins outside of the shelter to see her true LOVING personality. When returning to KCPP someone in the lobby mentioned how she seemed like a brand-new dog.`Chloe is currently living in a foster home and has proven to be house trained and crate trained. She knows the command sit. Chloe`s foster describes her as a couch-potato velcro dog that loves humans! Chloe is easy to walk on leash and tends to go at a slow pace. Chloe has told us she`d like to be the only dog in the home and that she`d prefer to live with adults. If you would like to meet her, please email foster@kcpetproject.org. Chloe is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Chloe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
