Figgy Pudding

My story

Fig is an amazing cat. She’s stolen the hearts of her foster parents and we know she’ll win you over too! Fig was originally from a hoarding situation in November of 2022 where dozens of cats were being kept in a broken-down RV with no running water or electricity. She was quickly adopted after being rescued, but unfortunately, she was returned two years later because the couple got a new dog and decided that they didn’t want Fig anymore. It took her a little while to adjust to her new circumstances, but she blossomed greatly after a slow introduction to her foster home and its inhabitants. Fig has actually done very well with the dogs and cats in her foster home, but she definitely loves her people more than anything. She’s a cuddle bug and will follow her foster parents around the house like a shadow. She’ll even jump on their shoulders to get all of their attention! Fig does have a condition called stomatitis which can cause some irritation around her teeth and gums. We got her teeth cleaned and tended to very recently, and the vet’s given the OK for her to be adopted out. She’s not in pain and she can eat perfectly fine.
